On May 1, 1976, Nancy married her husband of 48 years, Paul William Kelly. The couple resided in Columbus where Nancy worked for GMAC and Fitzner’s Pontiac. In February of 1979, the couple welcomed their son Jason. In 1991 the family moved to Winona, MS where they joined Moore Memorial Methodist Church. Nancy started working at Special Treasures. She loved her job and all her coworkers. She enjoyed being so immersed in the Winona community. In 2021, Nancy and Paul moved to Mobile, AL to be closer to family. They quickly joined Crawford Chapel and began new friendships.
She enjoyed her card games with her husband and playing games on her iPad. She loved her son, Jason, so much and was beyond proud of him and his achievements. Special to her heart was her grandson, Logan, She loved his visits and being able to play Uno and put puzzles together with him, and make him biscuits and his special cinnamon toast, just generally spoiling him. She loved being with her friends and family and filling her home with her beloved bunny figures.
Nancy’s unwavering faith in God was an example to all that knew her. She loved the Lord and embraced His promises. No matter the obstacle, she carried on and forward. Nancy cared deeply and loved to no end. Words cannot convey how much she will be missed.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Oneta Nichols. She is survived by her husband, Paul Kelly; her son Jason Kelly (Terri Turner); and grandson Logan Kelly.
Visitation and services will be held Friday, April, 19, 2024 beginning at 11:00 am. Graveside to follow.
