Michael Gene Langley – a 56 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Eight Mile/ Saraland passed away in Houston, TX on Sunday, May 12, 2013. He was retired from BFI, was an avid saltwater fisherman, and enjoyed playing softball. Mr. Langley was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jesse Langley and Rachel Walley Langley. He is survived by wife, Meta Langley; sons, Michael “Wesley” Langley, Lesley Ray Langley, and Joseph “Joey” Langley; grandchildren, James Wesley Langley, Jodi DeWayne Langley, Cody Bryant Langley, and Chase Anthony Langley; sister, Charlotte Heyer (Joseph); brothers, Jesse Langley (Janet) and Thomas “Tommy” Langley (Mary); many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 17, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
