Mary Nell Davis Sanders, age 79, of Semmes, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017, at her home. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wendell Sanders; three daughters, Tonya (Victor) Jolly, Robin (Clay) West, and Kelly (Chris) Havard; a brother, Tommy (Sharon) Davis; two sisters, Julie (Tony) Welborn and Debbie (Wayne) Jones; a sister-in-law, Jennie Davis; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James Dewey Davis and Matie Vera Seals Davis; one brother; and three sisters. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ - Semmes Ward 9830 Howells Ferry Road. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Bishop Mark L. Tate will officiate.
