Marie Stringer Talbert Myles

Marie Stringer Talbert Myles - a 73 year-old native of Mobile and longtime resident of Creola passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. She was a longtime active member of Creola Baptist church. She will always be remembered by those who knew her as the greatest mother, Nana, sister, friend, and neighbor.

Ms. Myles was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Denise McIntyre; parents, A.C. and Ethel Hughes Stringer; brother, Herman Stringer; sister, Bette Carolyn Ory; and the father of her children, Hillie David Talbert, Jr. She is survived by her children, Lisa Stringer (William), Kim Hall, Hillie David Talbert, III (Krisane), and Michael Eric Talbert (Barbara); sisters, Hilda “Sister” Boothe, Gwen Caples (Hilton), Sharon Farley, and Teresa McGee (Tim); 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her beloved poodle, “Destiny”; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held from Creola Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
