Lillian Elizabeth Waite
28 January, 1919 – 15 June, 2016
IN THE CARE OF
Lillian Elizabeth Waite, a resident of Eight Mile, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the age of 97. She died at home surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Warren Waite Sr.; one sister, Lydia Rodgers; and two brothers, James and Howard Rodgers.
She is survived by her son, Joseph “Jody” Waite; two daughters, Barbara Waite Dreaden and Ellon Waite Plant; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and one brother, George Rodgers.
A special thanks to Norma Minchew for all her care, comfort, and support.
There will be a visitation for Mrs. Waite Monday, June 20, 2016 beginning at 12 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. All services will be held at Fountain of Life Church in Saraland, AL, with committal service to follow at Wolf Ridge Cemetery.
