Joseph Cleret Kelly, 75, was called home May 21, 2022, in Bay Minette, Alabama. Buddy was born on April 15, 1947, in Mobile, Alabama, to the late Joseph and Myrtle Lacy Kelly. He was always good working with his hands, loved tinkering and fixing things. Buddy seemed to always be mechanically inclined. He collected old coins, loved science fiction, enjoyed his coffee and sweets. Buddy was an airplane mechanic.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Shirley K. Kelly; father-in-law Walton Hodges; mother-in-law, Lula Mae Hodges; and two brothers: Jerry Kelly and Rhonnie Kelly.
Left to cherish Buddy’s wonderful memories will be his daughter, Kimberly Kelly; six siblings: Tammy Nelson, Linda Wakeland, Elizabeth McKibben, Danny Kelly, Barbara Lee, Eunice Addison; along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

The family will be receiving guests for visitation on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A graveside service will follow at 11:45 AM, on the grounds of Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Road, Saraland, Alabama 36571.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of William F. Green State Veterans Home, North Baldwin County Hospital Staff, the Community Hospice Staff, friends and family for visits and well wishes. A special thank you to Linda Wakeland for the caregiving that was provided.
