John is survived by his mother, Shirley P. Greer (James Phillips); uncle, Earnest (Joan) Polk; and aunts, Clara Wright, Beatrice (Ulyses) Etheridge, Betty Gail Dean, Patricia Filowiat, and Linda (Michael) Cook.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Franklin Greer; and grandparents, James and Marie Winfield, Arlie and Frances Polk, and Earl and Maybell Greer.
A visitation for John will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A celebration of life will occur Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 5956 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36619.
