Janice Scarbrough Lomax - an 85 year-old native of State Line, Mississippi and a resident of Satsuma, Alabama passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. She was a 1956 graduate of Vigor High School and was a longtime bookkeeper in the local medical industry.
Mrs. Lomax was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Scarbrough and Gladys Breen; sister, Velma Stringfellow; and husband, Billy M. Lomax. She is survived by her children, Dennis Lomax and Stephanie Lomax; grandchildren, Hillary Watkins (Marcus), Ryan Baucom (Samantha), Steven Baucom (Alena), Matthew Baucom, William Baucom (Pete), and Dennis "Bubba" Lomax; great-grandchildren, Chase Lomax, Carlianna Lomax, Sam Baucom, and Jack Baucom; brothers, Leo Scarbrough and Larry Hendry (Vilma); other relatives and friends.
