Betty Hays McLarty

Betty Hays McLarty - a 91 year-old native of Andalusia, Alabama and longtime resident of Chickasaw passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was a longtime dedicated member of Chickasaw United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold Reid McLarty, Sr. Mrs. McLarty is survived by her children, Cathy McLarty Campbell (Ron), Joy McLarty Dean (Obie), and Harold Reid McLarty, Jr. (Melissa); grandchildren, Julie Campbell Schapals (David), Ashley Campbell Guynn (Brian), Kimberly Dean Myers (Justin), Allison McLarty Domonoske (Chad), Natalie Dean Stephens (Jeremy), Brian Anthony Dean (Jessica), John Reid McLarty (Courtney), and Stephanie Dean Manley (Andrew); brother, Jackie Hays; sister, June Black; 20 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from Chickasaw United Methodist Church on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty's memory may be made to Chickasaw United Methodist Church, 108 Lee Street, Chickasaw, Alabama 36611.
