I love you.
Among my favorite memories of Aunt Barbara is visiting with her and Uncle Vince, Carmen, Mike and Danielle on my visits home from the Navy to Saraland.
Our trips and visits to Gulf Shores during the summer, visits to Foley, Bear Point and Orange Beach were always special to me.  Spending Christmas together in the 60s and 70s was also among my favorite times.  I remember seeing “Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer” for the first time with Carmen, Mike and Danielle at their home in Saraland.
These times were very special to me.  I will miss you Aunt Barbara.  I love you.




A wonderful friend and classmate.  She and Vince were great role models for all of us!  She always had a smile and positive things to say.  Loved growing up with she and Pat in Chickasaw!  She will be missed but what a glorious reunion with Vince.    Jug    

Praying for the family.  Fond memories of Barb and of Vince also.  Loved them both.  

She was Aunt Barbara to me and I had the pleasure of being her oldest Reyes nephew for almost 60 years.  Plus, our birthdates were right next to each other (9/14 for her and 9/13 for me).  

My memories of her were the many summer days spent in Saraland at her home on Ann St playing in the neighborhood or over at Amelia Park with Carmen and Mike, and Jim and Kim Bryant - our “extra” cousins!  

She was always so kind to us and pretty much let us play till dark.  

Sometimes she would run us up to the convenience store and give us each a quarter to stuff our pockets full of candy - you could do that back then. 

Whenever I saw her or spoke to her on the phone she would call me “doll” which I think she used as a term of endearment for us kids.  

As she got older, “doll” was replaced by “love” when she greeted me and it always immediately let me know that she loved me very much. 

She battled Parkinson’s with the ferocity only befitting a Rogers.   She was as tough and as brave as anyone I know and she has my ultimate respect for her will to fight to enjoy her time with Dani, Mike and Carmen and especially her grandsons Caleb, Cody and Jacob.  

I find comfort in her Christianity and know that she is with my Uncle Vince, once again, walking hand-in-hand in the presence of The Lord.

Our favorite memories of Aunt Barbara center around Stellabration. She always looked beautifully put together, hair always perfect, a huge smile & could be quite funny! 
We pray for comfort as our family remembers Aunt Barbara and mourns her passing.
We rejoice over the fact that she is now with her Lord & Savior & her beloved Vince.


I always loved Aunt Barbara——her adoring hospitality and laughter!!!  I was happy when I knew Stella,  Wanda, Ruby, and Barbara weregoing to be together because I knew that meant a GREAT time!!!! She passed her gifts to her children—-Danielle and Carmen always welcome people with open arms!!!!
Love you Aunt Barbara and happy you are at peace with no pain  dancing in Heaven with  Vince!

Aunt Barbara was a part of my Life the day I was born. She and Uncle Vince were my Mom and Dads best friends and our two families did everything together. Carmen, Mike and later (lol) came Dani were like siblings . We vacationed together ,played together, went to K-Mart together lol.  I will always cherish her love for me and her ability to create Pawpaw Reyes Fried Rice which gave me another name than Jimbo Lol. She was a gorgeous woman inside and out! God blessed us all when he let Aunt Barb be an example because she certainly was! Love you with all my heart!! See you one day because I certainly know where you are!! Jimbo.

I never got to meet this dear woman, but I know and love her daughters.  They are a testimony of joy, laughter and love; blessings to so many.  That is a wonderful legacy for a Mom to leave behind.  Welcome Home, Ms. Barbara! 

Danielle and Carmen, I am so sorry to learn about your mother's passing.  You and your families will be in my thoughts and prayers.  Love y'all!  

I can picture sweet Mrs. Reyes face to face with Jesus! I truly feel blessed to have known her! What a sweet and wonderful woman! She raised 2 daughters to be just like her 😍. (Sorry Mike, I don’t know you enough to say but I am sure you are the same). I love this family and will be praying for y’all.
