Felipe Carrasco Robledo Sr.

After a short illlness, Felipe passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on July 16, 2016 at his home in Santa Paula at the young age of 80.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Margarita Robledo, sons Esiguio, Felipe Jr, Robert, (wife Lupe) Enrique, ( wife Theresa) Mario, ( wife Venessa) 19 Grandkids, 12 Great Grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.

Felipe was born on May 1, 1936 to Parents Esiquio Sr, and Maria Robledo. Felipe grew up in a large loving family with three sisters and two brothers .

When Felipe would travel to Mexico with his sister, Apolonia to visit family is when he met the love of his life, Margarita and were married and shared 54 years of marriage.

They overcame many struggles in life, but managed to build a solid foundation of love for our family.

Felipe ("Grandpa") as a Ranch Foreman for JM Sharp Company for 51 years that he worked up until his recent illness. Felipe had many opportunities to retire, but he loved what he did, it was not a job to him, it was his passion. Several times he would leave family functions to tend work when temperatures would drop.

Felipe is preceded in death by his parents, Esiquio Sr and Maria Robledo, Sisters, Sarah Calleros, Apolonia Chavez and Francisca Ruiz, Brothers, Antonio Robledo and Vicente Robledo. He will be missed very much!

Visitation will be from 5 - 7 pm, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary, 738 E. Santa Paula St., Santa Paula, CA. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Our lady of Guadalupe Church 427 N. Oaks St. Santa Paula, CA 93060. Follow be burial at Santa Paula Cemetery.
