Elodia retired from Saticoy Lemon Association and has since enjoyed her time at home with her family. Elodia’s most notable passions were attending to her garden and cooking her favorite meals for her loved ones. She was dedicated to being there for her family in any way she could, going the extra mile was never a problem. Even through her sickness being surrounded by family and going outside in her garden brought her the most joy and kept her motivated.
Mrs. Munoz was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro M. Munoz together they built their family and were happily married for 51 years. Today Elodia is survived by her five children; Rosario M. Bautista, Aurora M. Gonzalez, Salvador B. Munoz, Norma A. Amaro, and Pedro B. Munoz; grandchildren Christina, Ernesto, Monica, Patricia, Lisa, Rosario, Efren, Javier, Carlos, Henry, Richard, and Jacqueline; along with her 26 great grandchildren.
Elodia was a strong woman with an energetic personality and was known for creating a beautiful garden. Throughout her life she touched many with her generosity and caring heart.
Visitation for Elodia Munoz will be held on Wednesday, October 16th from 3:00 pm to 9:00pm at Funeraria del Angel Santa Paula with a rosary beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 17th at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with burial following at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery.
