My life 'on the mountain' would not have been the same without the joyous times spent at the Cecilio's house. Vince, you will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known you. To the Cecilio family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I can't begin to describe the sadness I am feeling out here, and strong memories I have of our Uncle.  I love everyone in the fam, and the laughs and emotion him and the siblings share were un matched.   He will always be playing pinochle & dominoes next to Auntie Nina, Aunt Minnie, Uncle Jack, Uncle Tommy etc., whenever a game is dealt.  You don't realize the closeness of family until they have moved on sometimes.  Though the chairs may shift a little, the game goes on, I think Uncle Vince would want us all to follow.  He now has a place at a new table with Uncle Frank and Nana and how thoughtful it was to never leave a sibling alone, the Cecilios did.  They'll just be two games going on at any time.  I will be bringing a fresh deck for the new table when I come  to visit. :)  Unique as it happened, as who else could handle Uncle Frank one-on-one at the table for any length of time...I think we can all give thanks for the time we spent with our Uncle and can imagine how lucky we are that we don't have to cover the bar tab at the new table our Uncles will be playing at :) - Love you all!!  and will miss you Uncle!! I'm so sorry to hear of Vince's passing.  It's been 30+yrs since I last saw him but I'll always remember the way he used to tease us as kids and his great laugh.

I'll miss our ball playing, horse racing outings, his quick wit, his laughter and insults  LoL. But most of all his friendship! He always wrote letters to you instead of calling it is a lost art. He said it was more personal. Me and Ella will miss him.

A good friend and Paisan has left us. I am sure he is in a better place. When I talked to him last I knew he was in great pain. I have shed my tears over his passing , but I remember all the laughter we shared .Our baseball and golf games will not be forgotten.Our visits to San Jose will not be the same.  Louise and I will miss him greatly.

Dearest Aunt Toni,  Cecilio's and Guinanes,
I remember Vince very well.  There was a time many of us were at Aunt Toni's and I danced the night away with Vince's Son,  so sorry I forgot his name.  Vince always had a smile and nice greeting for me. I can see him, his Mom, Grandma Guinane and many others having a great time playing cards,  maybe in the future we will all be in line to play with them,  how fun. Dear Family,
The memory of Uncle Vince will remain  in our hearts always. From a very young child to teen to adult Uncle Vince has remained a strong and loving presence in my life. It is comforting to know he is in a more peaceful state and with our beloved Nana Pia, Nano, his brother Frank and Vincent Jr. at minimum.
