Teresa Pino Rossi

Teresa Rossi was born in Santa Clara, California to Teresa Solis and Gabriel Pino on June 8, 1929. She was the youngest of 9 children. Preceding her in death was her husband of nearly 71 years, Henry, and her beloved brothers Frank, John, Tony, Gabriel, George, and her sisters, Frances, Laura and Carmen.

Teresa graduated from Santa Clara High School and worked for the San Jose Unified School district as a secretary. In 1949, Teresa met Henry (Hank) at a dance studio named Fredrick and Asella. Two years later they were married on July 21, 1951. The following year, they purchased an empty lot on Frederick Avenue in Santa Clara and built their dream home where they raised their three children, Peter, Diane, and Linda. Teresa loved her children and had deep family values. She did babysitting and typing for various people so she could stay at home and raise her children. Teresa was deeply loved by everyone who knew her. She will be missed by her daughters, Diane (Donna) and Linda, and her son Peter, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Teresa had 2 grandchildren, Matthew Machens (Ashley) and Melissa Machens, who will miss her dearly.

The funeral and mass will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clare Parish, 725 Washington St., Santa Clara, CA 95050. Immediately following, a committal service will occur Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA 95050. A reception will occur Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050. For those who wish to send flowers, it is recommended to have them delivered on Monday, November 21st, to Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara CA. 95050.
