Minnie Perry

Filomena (Minnie) Lucille Perry passed away peacefully in he sleep at home with her daughter, Beverly at her side. Minnie as she came to be called was born to Filomena and Antonio Fiaga on Aug. 17, 1909 in East Providence, RI. She was the 4th pf 6 children, 2 boys and 4 girls. They have all passed on.

Minnie and her family moved to Santa Clara in 1911 when she was 11 years old. Minnie has lived in the Valley for 91 years mostly in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. Minnie and her family lived through the Great Drepression of 1929. She attened grammer and High School in Santa Slara

Minnie's first husband was Frank Gasper who pass on Sept 1, 1935 only 6 months after Beverly was born. Minnies second husband, was Joe Perry, they were married for 47 years, he passed away on November 11, 1981. Minnie is survived by her daughter Beverly(GasperZ) Perry, Who Joe Perry was the only father she knew and loved. Beverly has indicated that her mother was a great mother and wonderful wife. She cared for her family deeply and would do anything for them. One of Mother and Dad's favorite songs was "Peg o'my Heart which was very popular back in 1947.

Minnies has lived with her daughter Beverly in Sunnyvale since 1985. She always had a good out look on life.

Mini is survived by many nieces and nephews of 4 generations.
