His HDS family will always remember his quick wit, sarcastic humor, and impressive work ethic.
Joe enjoyed the electrifying atmosphere of San Francisco as well as the outdoor beauty of Alaska, but he was happiest where ever the sun was shining. He loved gardening, spending time with family and friends, sharing good food and making memories. A friend recently said that Joe touched so many lives and made a positive difference in the world with his kind heart, generosity, and sense of humor. He genuinely cared about people and nurtured every relationship with his personal touch. Within minutes of meeting Joe, you felt like you’d known him forever.
