John Manuel Quesada was born on February 3, 1952 in Lodi, California, the son of Maria and Arthur Quesada. After a few years his family moved to Mexico and lived on his father’s family ranch. His family moved back to California and settled in Mountain View, California. John attended Crittenden Junior High and Mountain View High School. John worked at Stanford University for 40 years where he worked as an electrician specialist. He also was a reserve MVPD police officer.
After a very long journey with leukemia followed by a bone marrow transplant John passed away quietly on May 22, 2018. John was surrounded by family and friends throughout his battle with leukemia and throughout his transplant journey.
John was a loving son, father, brother, cousin, uncle, god father and friend to many. John is survived by his children, Johnny, Jacqueline and Julia as well as by his siblings, Mary, Joe, Connie (deceased), Art, Manuel, Lupe, Alfonso (deceased) and Chelo.
John was a generous and kind man who loved his family, motorcycles, oldies, mariachi music, the merengue, breakfast, Mexican food, softball tournaments and planning 21 at the tables.
John will be missed greatly. He will never be forgotten. John was loved by many and his memory will forever live in our hearts. God bless.
