James Frank Santos

Passed away in his sleep on September 30 at his home in Sunnyvale, CA. Jim was born December 24, 1919 to Joseph Pacheco Santos and Mary Soares Santos Silviera in San Jose. Brother to Joe, Lollie, Tony, Eleanor and also Vernon, Carol and Bill. He married the love of his life, Rose Mary Baumgartner on September 13, 1941, and together they had 4 children; Tom, Elaine, Randy and Laura. Jim fought in WWII, retired from C.C. & G Cannery and later owned/managed JR Storage in Alviso. He was a fishing enthusiast, a fan of the 49ers, baseball, boxing and rodeo. Survived by his children; Tom and wife Janet Santos, Elaine and husband Dennis Baca, Randy Santos, and Laura and husband Tom McKee. Also, his sister Eleanor Thomas, as well as Vernon, Carol and Bill, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild as well as countless nieces, nephews and cousins. Waiting to greet him in heaven is his wife Rose Mary Santos, his granddaughter Gena Goforth, brothers Joe, Lollie, Tony Santos and both parents, Joseph and Mary. Services for Jim will be held Monday October 8th, 11am at Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. in Santa Clara. Reception is to follow.
