Dear James, 

It was my pleasure to know you through your mother.  I know you are a very lovely boy to your mother. She always tells me how much she love you and how tiny you were when you were born. I can feel how deep her love to you. 

Last year, I heard your mum talking with you on the phone. She loves you very much.  She is a very tough mother and will do whatever to protect you.  She can drive more than 300 miles a day for you.  The more she talks about you to me, the more I know you. I was looking forward to meet you one day. Lurdes is my very good friend and we talk a lot. You always appeared in our conversation.  

On Dec 7, 2021 Tuesday, when you called your mum, I was next to her. I heard your conversation with her and was able to say hi to you on the phone. You are a lovely son who wants to show that you are a grown up man  to your mother. This is your love to your mother.  Your mother and I were very happy to talk with you on that night. 
 
I was able to meet you on Dec 15, 2021 Wed finally. Thank you for your organ donation to the others. You light up other families. You are very kind and I am looking forward to meeting you again in heaven someday.

Dear baby James,

My cousin, It's almost going to be a month since you've passed. It still doesn't seem real at all. I don't want to accept that you are gone and the only way to see you is when my time is up. It makes me sad because you still had so much to look forward to. When we last seen you was on Thanksgiving and mannn, If I would've known that was going to be the last time we were going to see you, I would've hugged you longer. We had plans for you to come back when you had it off from work because you had work Thanksgiving night, so you weren't able to stay long. This sucks James. Now your text messages are one of my memories of you. I miss you so much. You were too young to leave us. I'm hurting. I know you were in a lot of pain and now you are at peace but man, you were my auntie Lurdes' everything. You were her world. It makes me sad knowing that she doesn't have her baby here anymore. I know you'll be watching over her from heaven,  down here I promise you, I'll do my best to be there for your mom whenever I can.  I know you wouldn't want her to be alone. I know you would want if not all of us, at least one of us to make sure your mom is always good.  I got you!! But please promise me something. Promise you'll always be watching over us too. Watch over the whole family and my little family. We need you with us always. Thank you.
Your presence, your laugh and that beautiful smile will be missed so much. I love you baby. Tell grandma Juana I lovvvvvvve her and miss her so much. I know her, grandpa, aunt Ruthie and uncle Armando are all with you. See you one day.. Save me a spot up there.

To my bby cousin james life is not going to be the same with out ! You left us way to young there is not a day that I don’t think of you I’m going to miss your smile and your goofy vibe u where always so happy and the  sweetest gentleman I know! It hurts us to the Core that your gone but  I know your in a better place a place where your even. More happy with no stress now worries a place where we will at one time call are place are home I love bby cousin it would be selfish to say that I wanted you to come back and but god made u an angle for a reason I’ll miss you and love from both me and Annabella we love you fly higher then ever james

You had a fabulous heart, mind, body and soul. You will never be forgotten from those who loved you wholeheartedly and it was an honor to be your mother. I miss and love you so much. I'll never forget the time your mother and I had to drop you off at your father's for the first time and it was very hard. We almost pulled a Thelma and Louise because we didn't want to leave you there but we had to. Sofia and I will never forget all the times we spent together going out, movie, family gatherings and all the good times in-between. Grandma Chavoya will never forget how you used to go after school for her some of her famous lemonade.
