Juanita Cluster passed away peacefully in Tustin where she was born and grew up, She was a true Native Daughter of California as was her mother Alice Cozad Cluster also born in Tustin at the turn of the twentieth Century. As a young child Juanita attended the Tustin Grammar School and later Tustin High School. At the tender age of eight she was issued a Social Security number and started work at the Utt Fruit and Juice Company filling glass jars with Boysenberry jam for Knotts Berry Farm. During her free time she enjoyed spending time with her father Cassius(Cash)Cluster on his routine service of oil and gas to the local ranchers and orange growers. She always spoke of the fun times she spent enjoying the company of her father exploring territories outside of the small town of Tustin. Later during her college days at Orange Coast College she earned her degree in business leading to a lifelong career in the car business starting with L.D.Coffing Dodge in downtown Santa Ana for 15 years and 21 years at Renfree Volkswagen in Orange.
Juanita was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church also the Tustin Area Women’s Club where for many years she took great pride in surprising the members each month with her elaborate luncheon table decorations. For many years Juanita decorated her front yard with colorful decorations celebrating the current holiday that was being celebrated.
A visitation for Juanita will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00am followed by a reception at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705.
