Joe S Solis, of Santa Ana, California passed away on Thursday January 10, 2019. Joe was born December 31, 1943. He is survived by his Wife of 53 years, Linda; Daughter Marlene and Son-in-Law Carlos; as well as his 3 Grandchildren, Isabella, Carlos and Sophia; 6 God Children; Mother-in-law, Ruth; Sister-in-Laws, Marina and Alice; siblings Vickie(Alvie), Maria Trinidad (Marty), Carmen (Miguel), Eloisa (Casi), John (Miriam), Ophelia (Andy) Andy ; and many Nieces and Nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Salvador and Rosario and 2 siblings Louie and Frank.
Joe began his career in 1963. He continued to work at the same location until his retirement. He was a very generous man and would give the shirt right off his back. He would help people in any way regardless of the need. Joe loved his big family and friends. He enjoyed going to Las Vegas for the slot machine tournaments. Joe was a sports fan. His favorite college football team was the Norte Dame. When Marlene was growing up he participated and traveled to all her sporting events and continued the traditions with all of his 3 Grandchildren.
