Sorry about the loss of your family and a dear friend, Rick was always such a good friend growing up! He will be truly missed!!

Our thoughts will be with you and the family today as you attend the service for Eric this morning.

I remember well when Eric drove up to Sacramento from LA to help Frank get my new house on Crimsonwood Way in better shape for me. 
Eric climbed up in the attic and dropped a new cable line down the wall. Not easy, hot and sweaty. Frank in the living room to catch the line.

Replaced a door, installed a new kitchen sink and new faucets, throughout. Installed two new 16" tall toilets, etc! All of that and refused payment.  And we had fun. Eric was a great guy. Much like his Dad. Skillful, kind hearted and good natured. 

The world is not the same without him.♥️

Eric Mead was a wonderful person. He had a heart of gold. He was my best friend. He was a loving husband father grandfather. He was a provider he was someone you could always talk to. He was my best friend and he would truly truly be missed Rick. We called him was good at whatever he did if that was making cabinets working on computers selling houses putting houses together whatever you put his mind to he achieved it Rick you are now with Danny taking care of her as she take care of you. I love you, my brother and I will truly miss you hearing your voice seeing your smile your friend always Richard Chezum.

Eric Sean Mead was an important and well loved family friend who has been and will continue to be missed.
Ricky, as we called him in his youth, was a sweet, mischievous, adventurous & kind youngster.
One of my fondest memories, among many, was teaching him to ride a motorcycle at ten years old. He’d always been fascinated with the power of these marvelous bikes!

We went north of Los Angeles, to a small motorcycle track near Magic Mountain (a family favorite Funtime) and I had a 250 Honda, just his size. I would ride on the back of the saddle seat and with his hands on the accelerator and foot on clutch pedal I would show/tell and engage Rick in taking over running the motorcycle. 

When he felt comfortable & confident he let me know he was ready to take it over.
All I had to do was stand up and the bike cruised onward without me, Ricky was in complete control and to his disbelief he was riding on his own!

A very proud moment for both of us.

Ricky/Rick will always hold a big place in my 💝❤️❤️‍🩹 and I will love him forever.

See you soon dearest child/man, you are safe and at peace now in the midst of all our Angels.

A celebration of life began when we we're about 5 or so, I have this memory of all of us getting in that yellowish green station wagon and going to Leo Cabrillo Beach for whatever reason that is where my memories begin... I always loved going to visit when you lived on Verness street.
Rick and I would jump off the patio into the pool and his dog at the time would dive in the deep end and get the rock that he threw in the pool(cool dog) and well we grew older unfortunately not smarter,
the party times and it was an honor to have been a part of his wedding ceremony to Tammie. My what big beautiful family you two have created!

Eric Mead was the sweetest little boy, always displaying good manners and respect toward us older folks, who were about 24 years old at the time. We decided to take the kids to Pacific Ocean Park (POP) on a sunny afternoon. After a few rides, some cotton candy, and a break, Ricky looked up at me and asked, 'Uncle Mike, are we having fun yet? I scooped him up into my arms, giving him a big hug, and said, “Yes, we are—we’re having fun!” Ricky always wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page.
