Barbara Jean Roberts

Barbara was born on June 3rd, 1946 to Byron and Carol Crary in Phoenix, AZ. She was the eldest of three children. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Long Beach, CA where Barbara went to school and met her future husband, Joseph William Roberts. Shortly after graduating from Wilson High School in 1964, Barbara and Joseph got married and began their family.

When Barbara had her children, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Barbara excelled at supporting her three kids by faithfully attending dance recitals, football games, soccer games, softball games, and her favorite, baseball games. Barbara would regularly be found working in the snack shack or attending PTA meetings. Whether she was cheering the kids on at games or volunteering with the Camp Fire Girls, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Barbara was passionate about animals and when she wasn’t filling her beloved home with warmth and kindness, she could be found taking care of her dogs and cats. She was also a fabulous hostess who thrived on decorating for each holiday and making memories for her family. We will miss her greatly.

Barbara was predeceased by her father, her mother, and her husband. She is survived by her siblings, her three children, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
