It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Hickey (Altamonte Springs, FL), who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Francisca “Nelly” Hickey, loving father of Robert Hickey, Debbie Yaus and Kevin Hickey (Andrea); fond grandfather of Lily Yaus, Logan Nolan, Alden Hickey, Paige Hickey, and Eric Hickey; loving brother of Margaret O’Shea. Timothy “Tim” enjoyed a long retirement with family and friends. He was especially involved with his grandchildren, who will deeply miss his positive presence. He enjoyed travel, tennis, and was a guiding presence for his adult children. He was very much a “people person” and enjoyed conversation and debate. A wake will be held on Wednesday evening at 5p.m. until 8p.m at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn in Sanford. On Thursday, mourners will proceed to the All Souls Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will occur at the All-Souls Church Cemetery.
