James Edward Garner

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy after Pearl Harbor and was stationed on the USS Missouri. He received the World War II Victory Medal. He was the manager of the Park and Shop grocery store in Sanford for 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lois Garner and his daughter Sheila Lambert. He is survived by his son Carlos R. Garner and his wife Brenda, three grandsons and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Westview Baptist Church, 4100 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771. The Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 AM at the church. Interment with military honors will be Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida.
