An honored Army veteran, Carol served her country with pride and dedication. Her love for sports, particularly the Detroit Tigers, was a defining aspect of her life, and she cherished the memory of meeting Riley Green, which brought her immense joy.
A master of counted cross stitch, Carol excelled in this craft, producing beautiful pieces that adorned her home and showcased her creativity. She also opened her heart and home as a devoted foster parent, caring for over 20 children throughout her life. Her nurturing spirit provided many with a safe and loving environment, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.
Carol was a proud dog lover, and her beloved dog Heidi brought her immense joy and companionship. Their bond was a source of comfort and happiness in her life.
A true connoisseur of life’s simple pleasures, Carol had an unwavering love for Pepsi and was famous among family and friends for her delicious "Reid Fudge," a treat that brought smiles and warmth to gatherings.
Carol’s laughter, enthusiasm, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, creativity, and service that will continue to inspire those she touched.
