Earning a PhD at the University of Central Florida she enjoyed her time as a research psychologist with the Navy for many years.
Carol led a full life filled with faith, family, travel, and cherished pets. She was a very meticulous and devoted mother and grandmother, ready to lend an ear or give a much needed hug. Carol was happiest in the midst of God's creation from the beach, sunsets, and flowers to the people that surrounded her.
In her later years, Carol greatly enjoyed reminiscing on all of the trips, family holidays, and blessings the Lord had given her. She was always astounded by how God had blessed her with so many loving descendants.
Carol was predeceased by her loving husband Calvin Paris, sister Susan Hale and her parents Fred and Ruth Hale.
She is survived by her brother Roger Hale, her children John Hilton, Lynn Lanning, Brad Center, Jason Paris, Cheri Paris Simas, Eric Paris, fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends for Carol will be held Thursday, March 30th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771. A graveside service will follow at noon at Oaklawn Cemetery.
