Brett Alan Stone

Brett Alan Stone, 53, of Sanford, Florida passed away on September 10, 2021. He was born in El Paso, Texas on November 25, 1967. Brett graduated from Bremer State High School and received a Bachelor’s of Education from the University of Southern Queensland. He was married to Tammy Stone on January 14, 2017.

Brett was an entrepreneur. He was a member of Mt. Hope Church, Salisbury, North Carolina and had a passion for learning and reading books.

Brett is preceded in death by his father, Roger Stone; niece, Christie Whitmore and grandfather, Bob Stone.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Stone; children, Paige (Mark) Simmons and Taran Stone both of Australia along with his first grandchild on the way; mother, Gail Diamond of Australia; grandmother, Charlotte Stone of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Craig Stone and sister, Kim Whitmore both of Australia; stepdaughters and sons-in-law and five step grandchildren along with many cousins and nephews and nieces.

He was a great man driven by love and compassion for his fellow man and generous beyond his own needs. He will be missed by all who had the opportunity of knowing him.

A memorial service was held at Vera Cortland on September 16, 2021 at 7:00 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, Sanford, Florida. www.baldwinfairchildoaklawn.com
