William was a dear friend, perhaps because we were both sons of immigrants, members of minorities, or because of our love for family and respect for education. Almost every day he would tell how wonderful were his wife and grown children, telling of their many accomplishments. He loved to show pictures of his grandchildren. I treasure the times he took me to his favorite Chinese restaurants, and I'm sure he enjoyed the Jewish and Israeli restaurants I took him to. My wife and I were so honored that he invited us to the Chinese New Year Banquet. He was a real gentleman. There is a vacuum in this world since he left us. At the pool at the Benson Center we frequently talk about how we miss him. He will not be forgotten.

A wonderful Person

William and I were just talking about life after retirement a couple of weeks ago. Very sad to hear this sad news. My deepest condolences to his family. He will be dearly missed.

Rest in peace, William.  Your warm and gentle presence at the badminton courts on Fridays will be forever missed.

William loves exercises. Pilates, ball room dancing, badminton, tennis... I can't keep up with him.  He is probably enjoying all these in Heaven now.  I will always miss you.  - Daisy

Mr. Lau was always such a caring and energetic person. Always asking how I was doing the few times I got to see him throughout the year. First met him on the badminton courts, going to miss seeing him out there. My condolences to you and your family.

William is the senior member of our club, Atlanta Badminton club. He was with us since 1998, right after our club was established. He will be solely missed.

William has been practicing Tai Chi Chuan with me every Wednesday for the past 5 years. He was typically kind to the new people in our Tai Chi Chuan Association. And, he was the very first veteran member talking to me when I was a new member. I was amazed when told me his age 2-3 years ago and still working and and actively enjoying his life. It was a big shark to learn he is not with us anymore. We will remember him every Wednesday night when we  are together.
