Patrick J. Cummiskey, Sr., 66, died April 14th, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, son of Catherine and Joseph Cummiskey. Pat was a well-known expert on electronic payment processing and held senior positions in Sales and Marketing with Gasboy, Buypass, EPS (Electronic Processing Systems), TDNI (Transact Data Network Inc.), and Alliance Data. He also held CEO positions at Datawire and Metrosplash. Pat was renowned for his ability to build customer relationships due to his integrity and undying devotion to customer service. An avid lover of golf and tennis, he found the most joy spending time with his family, especially his 7 grandchildren. His loved ones gathered together a final time with him the night before he passed. Pat was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Janis Palena Cummiskey; daughter Cindy Fleming and husband Howard of Sandy Springs; son Patrick Cummiskey and wife Hope of Brentwood, TN; son Christopher Cummiskey and wife Rebecca of Atlanta; 7 grandchildren Kadyn and Shea Fleming of Sandy Springs, Jackson and Ansley Cummiskey, Calister, Alex and Will Turner of Brentwood, TN. The family will receive friends at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, on Monday, April 16th from 5-7 pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 17th at 11 am at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 7171 Glenridge Drive, Sandy Springs. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy NW, Sandy Springs, with a celebration of life taking place at Ansley Golf Club,196 Montgomery Ferry Drive NE, Atlanta, at 2 pm.
