Patricia Buck Mabry

Patty was born in Schenectady, NY on March 13, 1940, to (now deceased) Thomas and Harriet Buck. Having moved to Atlanta as a young child, she proudly considered herself a native of Atlanta. Patty was a 1958 graduate of Northside High School. She attended UGA and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority before moving to the west coast. In 1960 she married (now deceased) Edward Mabry & resided in Southern California for the next 11 years. She returned to Georgia in 1971 and raised her family in Roswell before retiring to Cumming in the mid 90’s. Patty enjoyed a successful Human Resources career in the insurance industry. She was a member of Good Shepard Catholic Church for the past 25 years.

Patty is survived by her two sons, Edward A. (Ted) Mabry, Jr. and his wife Kathleen from Boston, MA and their two children Brian Mabry (wife Megan), Kristen Mabry Tepper (husband Alex & their children Julian & Nora); Jeffrey David Mabry and his wife Dina from Oak Park, CA and their three children, Madeline Mabry Pelfini (husband James), twins, Victoria and James Mabry; beloved sister, Jean Buck Lofe; brothers-in-law Jeffrey W. Mabry, Marc S. Mabry (Lorraine), Steven C. Mabry (Marta); six loving nieces and six loving nephews as well as very close friends who she cherished dearly.

A graveside funeral for family and friends will be held on December 14, 2024 at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs, with Pastor Steven C. Mabry & Rev. Fr. Joseph Mullakkara presiding. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
