She was born August 7, 1924, in Detroit, the daughter of William and Katherine Robertson. Nancy graduated from Jamestown H.S. and attended Mary Washington University. Nancy married Samuel Bihr in 1945 and they settled in Kansas City. Nancy and Sam had four children. After several corporate moves, they relocated to Atlanta.
Nancy was also married to Norwood Jones and William B. Guthrie. Nancy had a successful 37 yr. career in Real Estate. Nancy was a member of the Christian Science church. She was also a member of a local Garden Club. She loved to play bridge, travel and help others. Nancy was a strong individual who was called “The General” by her family. She led by example and always had a kind word for everyone.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her sister, Suzanne. Surviving are her brother – Jack Robertson and his wife Joyce (Saratoga Springs, NY ), her three daughters Kathy and her husband - Dr. Lee Tatro (Leesburg, FL), Beverly and her husband – Mac Jones (Atlanta, Ga. ) , Barbara and her husband – Tim Burroughs (Decatur, Ga.) And her son John along with his wife Susan (Johns Creek, Ga.) Nancy has 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
