Mrs. Kathryn Brooks Claborn, age 85, of Sandy Springs died December 31, 2012. She is survived by her Husband D. L. Claborn, Sr., Daughters, Andrea Claborn-Bailey of Jonesboro, GA, Kathy Quilis and her Husband Michel of Marietta, GA; sons, Gary L. Claborn and his wife Jackie of Fayetteville, GA, David A. Claborn and his wife Denise of Happy Valley, OR and was predeceased by her son Domino Lee Claborn, Jr. Survivors also include her sister Rachel Claborn of Snellville, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11 am at Sandy Springs Chapel. Dr. Ike Reighard will officiate. Interment Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Haynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 3995 Rosebud Rd., Loganville, GA 30052. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy NE, Sandy Springs 30328.
