Jean Byers Napier, age 87, of Atlanta, entered into the presence of Jesus on March 14, 2015. Born in Manchester, Georgia, Jean was the daughter of the late Taylor Byers and Catherine Preston Byers of Brainerd, Minnesota.
Jean was predeceased by her brothers, Don Byers and Ted Byers, her sister, Shirley Persons,
son-in-law Steve Norman, and grandsons John Beckham and Andrew Corbitt. She is survived by four
daughters: Nancy Napier of Atlanta, Diane Corbitt and husband Ashley of Atlanta, Patricia Doughtie and
husband Sim of Sandy Springs, and Becky Norman of Roswell, as well as 11 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren.
A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11 o’clock at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
