Mrs. Janet “Jan” C. Johnson, 84, of Sandy Springs died on Tuesday, the 26th of May, 2015. A native Atlantan, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn Louise Clemons and John Alexander Campbell. She was a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church, Gene Wilson Sunday School Class, North Fulton Master Gardeners, Georgia Historical Society, The Atlanta Botanical Gardens, the Atlanta Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, and the Southern Chimes Chapter of the American Bell Association. Surviving are her husband, Paul E. Johnson; sons and daughter-in-law, Artie and Charlotte Schroeder, Lee Powell Schroder; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Mike Hundley; and grandchildren, Laura, Kelly, Emily, and Scott. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, the 30th of May at two o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park. Memorial services celebrating the life will be conducted on Tuesday, the 2nd of June at three o’clock at the Kellett Chapel at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at Peachtree Presbyterian Church or the Atlanta area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
