Chris had worked in banking for many years before her retirement. She was a familiar face to many.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard W. Callahan. She leaves her beloved rescue Shih Tzu "Cooper" who brought her so much joy and companionship as well as many good friends that she considered family.
After her retirement she enjoyed cooking, entertaining friends, being outdoors and biking the length of Cape Cod. Chris's true passion however, was playing the piano and singing. She and her husband enjoyed doing shows with their dog at nursing facilities and became a popular trio. After her husbands passing, Chris continued to enjoy doing shows all over the Cape at nursing facilities, especially during the holidays.
Special thanks to the Pavilion in Hyannis for the exceptional care and compassion given to Chris from the entire staff. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MSPCA in Chris's honor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at Our Lady of Victory Parish 230 S Main Street Centerville, MA. Burial is private.
