Rachael Rose Shaw

Shaw, Rachael Rose, 19, of Sandwich MA passed unexpectedly on October 10, 2022. Born in Sandwich to her loving parents Keith & Tricia Shaw on November 14, 2002, Rachael grew up in Sandwich and graduated Upper Cape Tech High School.

While attending Upper Cape she was a student in Environmental Sciences and was the starting varsity goal keeper for the girl’s soccer team beginning her freshman year, she graduated in 2021. Rachael worked at Snowy Owl in Sandwich as a barista, and was planning to begin attending college in the fall of 2023. She always had a shoulder for you to lean on no matter the situation and you could call at any time of the day or night for the best advice. She was the kind of person who would brighten any room she walked into and could make you laugh no matter what mood you were in. She was a free spirit and a loving daughter, sister, and friend who lived life to the fullest. Rachael was fierce in her commitment to those blessed to be loved by her and was unafraid to speak her mind. Rachael was very creative, she loved writing whether it was journaling or writing her own music, and loved painting and singing. Rachael really loved expressing her artistic personality by getting tattoos. Rachael’s gentle heart was expressed by the way she loved and cared for her nephew’s, as well as her pets throughout the years.

Rachael is survived by her parents Keith and Tricia Shaw, her siblings and their spouses, and her nephews. There will only ever be one Rachael, she will forever be missed in this life, and waits for those she loved in eternity.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 15,2022 at 10am at the Sagamore Inn Restaurant in Bourne, MA.
