Margaret DiGravio

DiGravio, Margaret (Peggy Robinson), 89, of Forestdale, MA, passed away on December 16, 2020 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA. Born on October 9, 1931 in Weymouth, MA, she was the daughter of the late Peter V. and Marianne (Byrne) Robinson and widow of John L. DiGravio who died on March 12, 2017 and with whom she married on April 10, 1955, sharing over 61 years of marriage.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings Mary (Barbara) Bates of Rockland, MA; Elsie Robinson of Weymouth, MA; Anna (Smitty) D’Ambrosia of South Weymouth, MA; Peter (Mike) Robinson of Weymouth, MA; Jean (Trisha) Robinson of Weymouth, MA; Shirley (Butchie) Gulley of Fayetteville, TN, June T. Robinson of Weymouth, MA; William (Billy) Robinson of Pembroke, MA; Doris M. Robinson of Weymouth, MA and Malvina (Mally) Parry of Whitman, MA.

Peggy grew up in Weymouth, graduating from Weymouth High School in 1950 and from the Holy Ghost Hospital School of Practical Nursing, Cambridge, MA. She spent her entire 46-year career as a nurse working the nursery and maternity department of South Shore Hospital, Weymouth, MA.

She is survived by her children David B. DiGravio and his wife Laura of East Sandwich, MA; Joanne M. McGrath of Mashpee and grandson Nicholas M. of Boston, MA; Kenneth J. DiGravio, his wife Jean and grandson John J. of Austin, TX; and John M. DiGravio of Dorchester, MA; her siblings John Robinson, Rita Dabrolet and Kathleen Sheila Robinson all of Weymouth; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and interment will be privately held at the convenience of the family at the Sandwich Town Cemetery, Sandwich, MA at a later date.
