Dorothy Mae Cordeiro

Cordeiro, Dorothy Mae (Morris), 91 of North Falmouth passed away on October 31, 2023 at Royal Megansett Nursing Home. She was born to the late Joseph and Ceila (Wright) Morris in Plymouth, MA on December 8, 1931. Dorothy grew up in Plymouth and graduated from Bourne High School. She attended nursing school at Tobey Hospital in 1950. Dorothy went to work at Falmouth Hospital when it first opened in 1963.

She loved to travel to New Hampshire and Florida. Dorothy worked at Royal Megansett when they opened the third floor. After running the floor, she opened her own private residence and cared for the elderly until she retired; Marshview Retirement Home.

Dorothy is survived by her six children, Caroline and husband Joseph Bergamini, Donald and wife Jennett Morse, Fawn and husband Paul Banks, Lynn Lumbert, Wendy Lumbert, Richard Lumbert. She is also survived by her loving sister Constance Medeiros.

A Memorial Service for Dorothy will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich, MA. Burial will be private.

Following the service everyone is welcome to gather with us at The Manor House, 115 Coonamessett Circle, E. Falmouth, MA.
