Juan Ernesto Fiorentini

Husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend, Juan Ernesto Fiorentini, passed away peacefully, on May 24, 2024 with family by his side. Juan was born on January 29, 1933 in Trujillo, Perú and a member of a large loving family. His parents were Juan and Ernestina Fiorentini, but Juan lost his father as a young boy, leaving his mother with 10 children. Juan was the first son after four sisters, and was followed by five more siblings. As a result of having lost his father at a young age, Juan was always responsible and accommodating, helpful, within his family and with everyone. He was respected, well-loved, very hard-working and appreciated for his quick actions and patience. Juan came to San Francisco, studied at City College and served in the US Army. This came to be an experience that he often recalled, appreciated and saw as a successful period in his life. Now living in San Francisco, he became a homeowner, a business owner and an employee of the SF Unified School District as a business machine technician. As a homeowner, he provided a locale for family from Perú and friends in which to live. In 1974, he married Teresa Ramírez who was a teacher in San Francisco. Juan and Teresa had a son, Mario, whom he loved dearly. Juan and Teresa enjoyed extensive travel seeing many parts of the world.

He leaves his son, Mario, and daughter-in-law Keely, grandsons West and Gus, four remaining siblings, Iris, and family in Perú, Pepe and family, Alejandro and Blanca and family, and Alicia and Mike Mendoza and family, In-laws, Anthony and Jean Ramírez, niece Alana, Angyl, Aurora and Shade Jamison. He leaves countless cousins, nieces and nephews in Perú, Mėxico and in the USA all of whom loved and respected Juan.

There will be a funeral mass on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 10 AM at St Patrick Church, 114 King St., Larkspur, CA. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or to the Monastery of Perpetual Adoration 771 Ashbury St., San Francisco, CA 94117.
