He leaves behind his true love, Mary, his son Tommy, his daughter Christina, who many know as Toonie, his grandkids Luciano, Aaliyah, Luna, Quinn, Quade, his sisters Valerie and Ruby, and his mother who made him breakfast every single Saturday.
He was bigger than big in the soul scene. In a league of his own and as humble as he was, he would never admit it, but we all knew how great he was. Tommy touched so many lives in his time on this earth. He brought people together from all over.
Tommy worked with Alan Beck of Pacific Concert Group for well over 20 years to bring us our yearly Valentine's Super Love Jam Oldie concerts along with the Freestyle concerts. He helped bring us that rare soul with the making of the Underground Oldies compilations.
Tommy made sure everyone always had a good time and felt comfortable at all the events he helped bring us. He would give his loved ones memorabilia along with vinyl records to have signed by the performing artists. He enjoyed seeing the smiles he was able to put on peoples faces when he watched people meet and greet with these great artists. That was Tommy! He was loving and caring like that, even if he made fun of you by drawing you on a post-it, getting kicked off a cliff. He was a jokester. Aside from sharing the rare soul or doo wops with us, making us all laugh was his specialty. Tommy knew how to get a chuckle out of anyone, but that's how he showed his love.
He was the kind of man who gave you the shirt right off his back if needed.
