Tomás Gutiérrez, 47, of San Jose, California passed away on May 8, 2022. He was born on December 18, 1974 to the late Florencio (Lencho) Gutiérrez and Maria Javalera. In addition to his Father, he was preceded by his paternal grandparents, Tomás and Micaela Gutiérrez; and his maternal grandparents, Raymundo Javalera and Maria De Los Angeles Moreno-Javalera.
Tomás grew up in East San Jose, CA. He attended local public schools and was an avid Bay Area Sports Fan (49ers, SF Giants, Warriors, Sharks). A member of the "Faithful" as a season ticket holder and master tailgater where he was known and loved by many. He was a classic car enthusiast, spending many years perfecting his 1962 Chevy Impala. A true extrovert, caring, loving, loyal and more than anything giving to anyone who was lucky enough to know him.
Tomás will be greatly missed by his loving Mother, Maria; siblings Vera (Reid), Claribel, Alda, and Sergio; nephews and niece, Michael and Josh (Reid), Noah and Ava, Tomás and Daniel (Simpson); brother in-laws, Mike, Bob and Gil; sister in-law, Danielle; step-mother Sarah; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends he made in many different seasons of his life.
