The service will be held at 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose CA 95125 on 23th of January 2021.
Mrs. Do Huu Do, born Thai Vu, passed away in peace
on December 23, 2020. She was born on December 2,
1928 in Thai Nguyen, Vietnam. She grew up in Thang
Dong of Ninh Binh province, was married to Do Huu
Do, then they built their life together in Binh Hai
and later in Hanoi. In 1954, the family moved from
the North and settled down in District 1, Saigon,
Vietnam.
In 1975, Thai Vu immigrated to the United States with
her children and in-laws. She chose San Diego as her
new home. Her dedication and unconditional love for
the family were demonstrated through her daily
cooking and caretaking of the grandchildren, never
asking for anything in return.
Thai Vu was preceded in death by her husband in
1960. Thereafter, Thai Vu remained vigilant in her
unwavering loyalty to her husband. She devoted her
life to raising the 4 young children in Saigon, and
later the 6 grandchildren in the US. She remained
the pillar of strength for her family, engaging and
gathering her children and grandchildren for
holidays and traditions to strengthen the family
bond. She was there to pick up every one of her
grandchildren from kindergarten, taught her children
to speak their first English words and taught her
grandchildren to speak Vietnamese.
Thai Vu passed away on December 23rd, 2020,
exactly 60 years to the day of her husband’s passing.
Thai Vu is survived by her four children, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Forever in our lives.
Until We Meet Again
We think about you always,
We talk about you still,
You have never been forgotten,
And you never will.
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you will remain,
To walk and guide us through our lives,
Until we meet again.
In honor of Thai Vu, please consider continuing to donate to these charities in her loving memory.
