Robert Dayton Holman

21 December, 1932 – 4 February, 2021
IN THE CARE OF

Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel

Robert D. Holman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother anduncle, sadly passed away peacefully in his home with his wife of 66 years, Rina Holman, by his side. He is predeceased by his parents James and Nellie Holman, son James Holman, sister Natalie Evans & his in-laws Thomas,Josephine and Salvatore Spano.

Bob(aka RD) was born in Mineral Wells,Texas, and graduated from Hanley High School. He joined the U. S. Army and attended the University of Texas at Arlington. A union carpenter (405) for 70 years, Bob was a founding member of the Carpenter Retirees’ Club, a member of the American Legion, had a lifetime credential to teach carpentry, which he did, had a general contractors license, and built his family home, as well as many buildings in the Bay Area. He was happiest when all his family was together. He loved gardening, BBQing, and his work.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Rina, daughters Ann-Marie Lombardo (Tony), Roberta Hendryx (Jerry), and son Thomas Holman, daughter-in-law Debbie Holman, grandchildren Christina,Toni-Ann, Danielle,Tom, Amber, Cory, Justin and Johnathan, 5 great-grandchildren, his sister Jimmie-Nell Courtney, and many nieces and nephews. He was a wonderful, good, kind and hard working man.

Thank you to his kind caregivers Marites, Janice, Bebe and especially Cora and Aunt Julie. Bob will be terribly missed and always in our heart and minds. May he rest in peace with our Lord. I love you Bob, from the first day to forever.

Private services are for immediate family only due to health restrictions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.
