My dad was the best he always wanted the best for me he wanted me to have a bright future he always loved me but I never realized that till now he always showed me about god and if it wasn’t for him I would known about god he is the best person I met I miss giving him hugs I miss praying with him I even miss going outside with him. he’s the best Dad I’ve ever wanted I wish we could’ve been hanging out together for more longer. it’s been a good journey but now ur in a better place with god. Ricardo sabemos que estás feliz con nuestro señor Jesús cantándole en el cielo porque tú lo amabas mucho…te extrañaremos mucho y te recordaremos mucho  te miraremos siempre en tus hijos. Mi más sentido pésame para tus padres.

Ricardo siempre te recordaremos  fuistes una linda persona y ahora estás gozando de la gloria de Dios  Dios ke de consuelo atus padres 

Richard siempre estarás en nuestros corazónes, te vamos a recordar para siempre . Fuiste una gran persona , y amabas tanto a el señor Jesucristo . Voy a extrañar las escrituras que mandabas cada día . Dios de consuelo a tus papás y a tus hijos Bethany y Joshua , y a toda la familia. 

Mis más sinceras condolencias, a tu familia gran amigo, siempre fuiste muy especial para nosotros, y nunca olvidaremos tu gran corazón para con los demás, gracias por ser parte de nuestra vida. 

As Brother Richards sister in the Lord, my heart is broken as we mourn this loving and giving human being. Not many people give of themselves without expecting some kind of return. Brother Richard was the exception. He loved God with all his heart.  He would do things to promote the kingdom of God which most people never really knew of the many things he did, which in reality is how God would want us to do good deeds. He used whatever he had to help others. Upon finding out about his passing our hearts were broken. He always checked on us if he didn't see us in church for any reason. His last words to me when I was dealing with a heath issue not too long ago and he didn't see me were, "Hey sis, you're still on fire for Jesus?" I assured him, Brother, always!! I let him know my walk with God was built on a solid foundation! That satisfied him and he felt better for us. One thing I'll never forget is many years ago, I got it in my head to make a newsletter for the choir; for events, motivation and showing pictures of our carwash fundraisers and just fun pictures of the choir members. I was so happy that it came out pretty good. I had a color printer back then so I printed out a bunch of copies on my own because I was excited about it. I had given Brother Madrigal a copy of it and one day he came up to me and tried to hand me a one hundred dollar bill. I asked what is this Brother? He said, "It's for your newletter!" I told him it was just something I did to encourage the choir. He pushed the bill at me and said, "It's  for your supplies that you spent. He would not take it back no matter what I said, that's how thoughtful he was. Concerned and caring for others. I'll never forget his kindness and his giving spirit! He will truly be missed by my family and many others! There are many stories of his kindness towards many. I hope they are shared! Much love and prayers to his whole family from the Velez family!!
