Born April 6, 1943, Leslie Anne Stott, was the daughter of Marshall and Eleanor Stott and grew up in Watervliet, NY with her brothers Hugh Stott and David Stott. She attended Watervliet High School and Russell Sage College in Troy, NY and majored in chemistry. Leslie met Charles "Chuck" Roedel at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY in 1962 and they were married on April 25, 1964. Leslie and Chuck have enjoyed 58 wonderful years together. Leslie is survived by two adult children and their spouses, Susan Lynn Roedel and Laura Anne Roedel. Laura is married to Michelle Michon. Leslie has three Grandchildren Robert Kelleher, Luke Roedel-Michon, and Ella Roedel-Michon. Leslie was preceded in death by her father Marshall Stott,
mother Eleanor Stott, and brother Hugh Stott.
Leslie was a bright student who excelled in music, art, books, cooking, and volunteering. She was especially knowledgeable about animals and loved nature throughout her life.
Leslie raised two great daughters and always encouraged the best for the whole family. She loved visiting the Stott/Roedel log cabin in the Adirondack Mountains built by her Father in Minerva, NY. Leslie played a flute in the school band, was a Girl Scout leader, a librarian, a co-founder of ComSifter that provides an appliance for schools to filter adult content from screens. She has provided significant help to develop and market the 911Finder Cellular Watch that will save lives for people with dementia, Alzheimer's, and autism.
Her Memorial Services will be held at Willow Glen Funeral Home on March 22, 2023 at 11:00 am Pacific
