Laura and Jeremy meet in 1994 but did not begin their journey to create the beautiful Cano McCallum family until 2004 and exchanged their vows a year later.
Laura is survived by her husband Jeremy; their three children Anthony (22), Mia (15), Aria Lola (10); her parents; Linda and Lorenzo Cano; sister Lina Cano; soul sister Teresa Langley; brothers-in-law Ramon Perez, Jason McCallum, Jordan McCallum; nieces; Kristian Cardenas, Kennedy Cardenas, Amara McCallum; nephews; Jacob Cardenas, Ramon “Gio” Perez, Jiovanni Muniz, Jacen P. McCallum; her Godchildren; her extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins; her friends (Team Laura), work-family and beloved dog Rex.
Laura had an extreme passion about life and it showed in everything she did. Her bright and beautiful smile can be seen in every picture she took. She loved to document any and every occasion with a photo and most of the time it was several. She was quick to remind any complainers that they would be grateful when they look back and would be happy these photos were taken. Snapping photos of everywhere she went has left us with a ton of beautiful memories. Her zest for life could only be matched by her love for her family. She was always planning the next family trip and went out of her way to make sure it was a fun time. She really enjoyed the beach and the sounds of the waves crashing ashore. She loved to take the family there as well as just the Hubby on one of their many date nights. She enjoyed binge-watching the latest Netflix shows, shopping for new items for home, and reading quietly when she finally had a free moment to herself. Her family meant everything, and she went out of her way to create lasting memories. Annual trips to Disneyland, Great America, Birthday parties, or just taking the kids to get their favorite treats after school made her the greatest Mother, Daughter, Friend, and Wife this world has ever seen. She looked forward to date nights every single Saturday. They have trekked countless miles, ate at numerous restaurants, and shared millions of laughs. Jump in the car and just go was the mentality. It didn't matter the destination as long as she and Jeremy were together. They built this wonderful life together. Accomplished so much together.
“I thank God for allowing us to be together. She was the greatest woman I’ve ever known. Best Mother, Best Wife, my Best Friend. My Soulmate Laura will never be forgotten and will be forever loved, cherished, and live on through her children” -Jeremy McCallum
