A memory came up on my snap and it was the time we went crazy shopping and we pulled into a parking lot and tried making our first tick tok together and we couldn’t get it right because we were laughing so hard…. I miss that! But I’m so glad I have ALLLLL these memories of is! I love you beyond words cousin and not a day goes by that I don’t think of you and miss you so much 

There’s not a time where I don’t miss your sweet voice and bubbly personality.     When I see your name on SMA’s, I get this awful feeling in my stomach and I get so sad. I still can’t believe you are no longer here and it’s already been a year.

I have tons of things to say to you, but the main 3 things that I would like to tell you are “THANK YOU”, “I MISS YOU”, and “I LOVE YOU”..
I wish I could have met you ages ago… I wish I could have dragged Jason for more double dates… I wish to have more of our #coffeedates and hear your voice again… I wish to see that smile, and hear that contagious laugh once more… Though all of these will remain as wishes and impossibility, I will forever keep and will never forget all the “genuine” love you have for me and the boys… You are one rear gem of a human soul… To be able to have several years of all your greatness inside and out was such a blessing… You are a testimony that God does send angels in the world… 
I will remain to see you in your kids, family, and great friends…
Even after ascending to heaven, you still are sharing anything that you can, by sharing you dear love ones to each one of us… (yes I am an official niece of Auntie Linda🥰, and part of #teamlaura)

I have worked with Laura for more than a decade.  I would only typically get to see her once a year at our annual kickoff meeting and I would always look forward to her bright smile, happy demeanor, a warm hug and catching up in person a bit.  The thing I always associate with Laura is how she's surrounded by so many family and friends who love her in almost every photo I've ever seen of her.  And I know that despite the fact she was happy to see her colleagues when she could at work events, she was always counting the minutes until she was back where she belonged with her beloved family.

You will be truly missed, you were a ray of sunshine always willing to help and listen ,always smiling and laughing, I got the privilege of knowing you through PTA,  you are an inspiration I’ve  learned so much  from you, thanks for being you !! Heaven gain a beautiful angel !!! I pray God brings healing and Comfort to your family in this hard time

You are truly missed by so many. I know you will always be with us. You were so many peoples light including mine.  I will miss you and the love you gave that I am forever grateful for. This is not a goodbye, it is “See you later!”, just like you always have told me. I love you. 

I will forever be grateful for your love. You loved me & welcomed me with open arms, and made me feel like family. You loved me like your own. You were always the life of the party, with contagious energy. I miss you so much already, but I know this is “See you later,” not goodbye. These pictures are a prime example of who Laura was. Aside from being loving, beautiful, gracious, and patient; she was fun, adventurous and the life of the party. She had such a beautiful smile with a unique laugh. She was always ready and not afraid to get things going. The first picture is at Great America. We took our boys for the day and weren’t prepared for the water. The boys wanted to get wet and of course I wasn’t about to do it, but her; she didn’t think twice, she went for it, fully clothed, shoes and all. As you can see she was soaked and still full of laughter. The second picture is her at Anthony and Mia’s bday celebration. Mind you it’s late September or early October and there she is, ready to be dunked into the tank that was full of cold water. 

Laura’s joy was putting the kids first, it was seeing them happy and content. Laura loved hard, completely, and with all that she had. I always admired her talent of being able to juggle her own life of mom, wife, homemaker, and still maintain her ability to have time for others, to have time to reach out, to have time to send a heartfelt message, to have time to listen. I can’t help but feel like we have been robbed of one of our greatest gifts, our greatest inspirations; we are all at a great loss. Although my life is forever changed, the take aways I have are; I was lucky to have known her, lucky to be loved by her, lucky to have been apart of her circle. Thank you Laura for loving my children, for loving me, for welcoming us, for including us, for setting the bar high, for being an inspiration and for being that bright light in this sometimes dark world. I will always remember our moments, our talks and your cheers from the stands. Your presence is deeply missed. You will never be forgotten. Until we meet again my friend. Love you always, Christina

The bond we shared, I’ll cherish forever almost as much as hearing you say, “Hi Princess.” Love you forever my Auntie Wawa. 

I remember this trip like it was yesterday. I will remember and cherish this memory forever as this was one of the last times, we would be together in person.  Even though we were far from each other, you always made sure to check in. We didn't get to see one another as much as we'd like, but when we did, we always had the best time together! Cousin, I will never stop missing you! I love you.  

Laura, I am still in shock with your sudden pass. I’ve worked with you for over 10 years and you were always so positive and sweet. A beautiful person inside and out.   You will forever be in my heart!



Her bright smile will always shine through others.Her memories will always be in the hearts of family and friends.I love all the pictures she always posted with family and friends.Having so much fun.She always was positive.I met her through my sister Jessica.Both of them so bubbly.Laura enjoyed life.She sure lived it to the fullest.You will be missed by so many.

You have always been a huge part of my life from when I was little, you have been there for every mild stone in my life and when I had my kids you where there for there’s. I remember staying the night at your house and watching you get ready to go out with your friends and you turned around and said when you turn 18 I’ll take you with me and you did…. I miss you so much and I know you’re watching over all of us…. I would tell you “I love you cousin “ and your response was always “I love you more” how much I’m going to miss that 

Laura and I grew up together. My fondest memories are with her. From mall trips to school dances and sleepovers- those days were the best. We remained friends as adults, working together and sharing our lives. 

The impact Laura had on my life is immeasurable. She helped me with my career. She counseled me and guided me and was my role model for marriage and motherhood.  She was so supportive as I had my first born. They always had a bond that warmed my heart. I asked her to be his godmother because I knew he would always be protected with her looking out for him. 

I was looking forward to watching her relationship with my son develop as he grew up. I appreciated her checking in on him from time to time and I encouraged that relationship between them. We all looked forward to the day the pandemic would be over and they could spend more time together.  I had hoped that maybe they'd have lunch and she could come in for coffee and catch up. 

It breaks my heart that we ran out of time.  Thank you for always being there. Thank you for always showing up for us. We will cherish those memories and remember you always. 

To call Laura my best friend is an under statement because she was much more than that. Soul sister seems more appropriate, she helped me by showing me not only how to love others but to also love myself.  I will never forget the day Anthony was born she let me hold him and said she knew I deeply wanted kids of my own, but she would share her son with me until I have my own kids. She not only kept that promise but she graced me with making me Godmother to all 3 of her children. I will forever be grateful to you Laura for all the kindness and compassion you have shown me. I miss you everyday,  I love you. 

As much as this hurts , a part of me feels so blessed to have known you, to have loved you and be loved by you. I will always hold you in my heart and forever look at you as my old sister.  We didn’t get enough time. I love you always 🤍

I can’t believe one week before this nightmare started we were celebrating and just so happy to be together. You are so loved and we were so lucky to have had you in our lives. Love you forever my sister. ❤️🥺

Sending my sincerest condolences to the Cano-McCallum family. Laura and I met many moons ago as young women in our 20s trying to find our way in the world. Laura, Teresa, Lani, and I have shared a friendship that has evolved over time and has always been based on love, compassion, respect, and the feeling of never being alone. We always had each other. Through moves, life and career changes, children, and marriages we remained friends. We shared each others joy, sadness, hilarious moments, and secrets. Laura is one of the kindest and most sincerest person I’ve ever met. I will always remember her for the strength and love for her family that allowed us to have her for the time we did. Such an incredibly beautiful woman with an amazing spirit. I will always carry you in my heart. Until we meet again amiga. I love you.
