Joe (Jose) M. Martinez 88, a resident of San Jose, California, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He was in born in La Villita, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife Connie Martinez, his parents Eugenio and Lauriana Martinez, brothers Aldelaido and Floyd Martinez and sister Gaby Villareal. Mr. Martinez is survived by daughters, Gladys Saldivar and husband Joe Saldivar and Patti Martinez Boyers and husband Jim Boyers of California, his sisters Dora Martinez of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Olivia Gallegos of Alcalde, New Mexico. Grandchildren are Matthew Saldivar and wife Sharie Saldivar, and Jolene Hoyt and husband Chris Hoyt, and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Oakhill Memorial Cemetery, in San Jose, California.
