John passed away to due to medical issues at Regional Medical Center in San Jose, CA. John leaves his wife Martha, of 44 years and his siblings: Marcia McCarthy, Frances Clark, Laura Garvey, Catherine Brunelle. John was predeceased by his brothers Timothy Regan and by James Regan. John had 14 nieces and nephews. He also will be missed by his mother-in-law, Betty Capps and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sharon and Jim Welker. He left good friends and neighbors who watched out for each other.
John and Marty enjoyed watching falcons together. They raised, loved, and lost their dog Bubba. John enjoyed tending to his yard, sharing his garden crops with neighbors, caring for the neighborhood cats, and walking.
John retired from Hewlett-Packard after 30 years or more. He served in the United States Air Force from 1962-1968 as an Airman Basic , Communication Specialist.
