Born in Fresno, CA on May 13, 1930, died in Santa Clara, CA November 13, 2020. He moved to San Jose, CA with his family in 1937.
John is survived by his 3 children and their spouses, Lenora & Jim Kitchens Carl & Debbie Campo and John & Yvonne Campo, his grandchildren; Michelle, Ryan & Jeff & his great-grandson Halen. He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Campo and his father and mother Calogelo and Leonora Campo.
John was a true family man and lived his life to be able to provide for them. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating and camping at lakes and the Delta where the family had a dock. He enjoyed taking long trips all over the US with his wife and friends as they traveled in their truck and 5th wheel. He was an avid bowler in the day. John was a huge fan of “Big Band” music and loved to listen to music and dance. In the last few years, he enjoyed spending time with new friends at the senior center playing pool.
John was a proud veteran serving our country in the Army during the Korean war.
